How to Add a Poll
Updated over a week ago

Welcome to the realm of dynamic engagement and interactive experiences! In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to unlock the full potential of Live Polling for your event. Whether you're hosting a conference, webinar, or any gathering, these steps will empower you to craft tailored poll questions and foster meaningful conversations with your audience.

Let's dive in!

Step 1: Locate Live Polling Feature

Navigate to your event builder to find the Live Polling feature.

Step 2: Add Poll

Select the "Add Poll" icon situated at the top right.

Step 3: Craft Tailored Poll Questions

As you embark on this step, envision the potential of your poll questions to ignite meaningful conversations. You'll be prompted to enter questions that resonate with the unique dynamics of each session and day of your event. Customize them to evoke thoughtful responses and engagement. For example:

  • Session-Specific Question: "What key insights did you gain from today's speaker?"

  • Daily Engagement Question: "Which topic are you most excited about exploring further today?"

Remember, the character limit is 200, so craft questions that inspire and capture the essence of your event without exceeding this threshold.

Step 4: Provide Answers

Under the options tab, enter your question's answers, being cautious not to exceed the character limit of 60. If you wish to add another option, simply select the "+ Add Another Option" button.

Step 5: Implement Correct Answer Tracking

Dive into the dynamic realm of live polling by exploring the "Track Correct Answers" feature. When activated, this option guides participants to select a singular correct answer for your poll question, fostering precision and focus. However, if this option remains untoggled, the following scenario unfolds:

Imagine your live poll question: "What emerging technology excites you the most?" with options A) Artificial Intelligence, B) Virtual Reality, C) Blockchain. Without toggling the correct answer, participants can freely express their excitement for multiple options.

For instance, if a participant chooses both A) Artificial Intelligence and C) Blockchain, their preferences are acknowledged, offering a more inclusive and diverse polling experience.`

Navigate this decision based on your engagement goals, contributing to a captivating live polling encounter. This intentional approach adds finesse to your event, transforming live polling into a versatile and interactive highlight.
