Setting Up Tickets

Once you have enabled registration forms for your event, you can conveniently setup tickets. In this article, we will take a detailed look into the steps you can follow to setup tickets for your event.

Step 1: Select the Event

Once on the My Events dashboard, select the required event. Doing so takes you to the selected event's details screen.


Step 2: Select Tickets & Reg

Once on the Event Details screen, click the Tickets & Reg toggle button. This takes you to the Registration Form screen.

Step 3: Click 'Tickets'

From the left navigation bar, click Tickets. Doing so takes you to the Tickets screen.

Step 4: Click 'Add ticket +'

Once on the Tickets screen, click the Add ticket + button. This opens the New Ticket panel on the right side of the screen.

Step 5: Select Ticket Type

Select whether you want to keep the registration ticket paid or free by making the required selection. By default, it is set to Paid.

Step 6: Enter Ticket Name

Use the Name field to enter the name of the ticket.

Step 7: Set Ticket Available Quantity

Enter the available quantity of the tickets in the Available quantity field.

Step 8: Enter Ticket Price

In case you have selected Paid, enter the price of the ticket in the Price field.

Step 9: Select Service Fee Deduction Mechanism

In case you want HelloCrowd to absorb service fee, enable the Absorb Service Fee toggle button. You can see how the fee works by clicking the How fees work hyperlink.

Step 10: Select Ticket Availability Window

Use the When are tickets available dropdown to select when the tickets become available. By default, it is set to Date and Time. However, you can select when the sale ends for a specific ticket or Not on sale as well.

Step 11: Select Ticket Sale Start Time

In case you select Date and Time from the Ticket Availability dropdown, use the Sales Start date selector and Start Time clock to set the start date and time for the tickets.

Step 12: Select Ticket Sale End Time

Similarly, use the Sales End date selector and End Time clock to set the end date and time for the ticket sale.

Step 13: Enter Ticket Description

Use the Description textbox to enter the ticket description.

Step 14: Set Tickets Minimum Quantity

Use the Minimum Quantity field to enter the minimum quantity for the registration tickets.

Step 15: Set Tickets Maximum Quantity

Similarly, set the maximum quantity of the registration tickets per order using the Maximum Quantity field.
