A successful login takes you to the My Events screen where all the created events are listed with the status of each event reflected via a different color. The published events are displayed with a green, draft with a grey, and ended with an orange circle icon. This article focuses on how you can create an event in HelloCrowd.
Step 1: Access My Events
Although a successful login takes you to the My Events screen. However, if you are on a different module, click the HelloCrowd icon from the top-left corner. Doing so takes you to the My Events screen.
Step 2: Click 'Add event +'
Once on the My Events screen, click the Add event + button. This takes you to the Basic Info screen.
Step 3: Enter Event Title
From the Basic Info screen, enter the title of the event in the Title field.
Step 4: Select Start Date/Time
Use the Start Date calendar and Start Time clock to choose the start date and time for the event.
Step 5: Select End Date/Time
Use the End Date calendar and End Time clock to choose the end date and time for the event.
Step 6: Choose Event Type
Select the event type from the Type dropdown.
Step 7: Choose Event Category
Use the Category dropdown to select the category in which the event falls.
Step 8: Choose the Event Theme Color
Moving to the Theme heading, select the theme color of your event from the listed colors. You can also add a custom color by entering the color code.
Step 9: Select Event Location
Use the options under the Location heading to select the event location. By default, it is set to venue.
Venue
When you select Venue, type in the event location in the location field. As you start typing, the relevant locations start appearing for you to select.
Online Event
If you select Online Event, provide the online meeting URL in the URL field.
Not Sure Yet
In case you are unsure about the event location, select Not Sure Yet.
Step 10: Select Time Zone
Use the Time Zone dropdown under Event Locale to select the time zone for the event time.
Step 11: Select Date Format
Use the Date Format dropdown to select the date format for the event.
Step 12: Select Time Format
Similarly, use the Time Format dropdown to select the time format for the event.
Step 13: Click 'Next'
Once the required selections are made, click the Next button. Doing so takes you to the Event Details screen.
Step 14: Generate Event Summary and Description with AI or Enter Manually
In the event details screen, you can generate the event summary and description of the event with AI by clicking the Generate button or enter the summary manually in the Summary textbox.
Step 15: Enter Description Manually
If you have added the Summary manually, enter the description in the Description textbox.
Step 16: Click 'Next'
Once the event summary and description is recorded, click the Next button. This creates the event and displays it on the dashboard along with all the relevant event tools.
Step 17: Click 'Publish Event'
As the details of the created event are displayed, click the Publish Event button from the top-left corner.
