Managing your Tickets and Registration Settings
Updated over a year ago

Welcome to the guide on "Managing Your Tickets and Registration Settings." In this comprehensive guide, we'll take you through the essential configurations to ensure your event management experience is tailored to your specific needs. This journey begins with accessing your ticket settings, followed by customising email notifications, making critical decisions about ticketing, and managing invoice preferences.

Step 1: Access Your Ticket Settings

Begin by navigating to your ticket settings. Locate the "Settings" feature within your Tickets module and select it.

Step 2: Customising Email Notification Preferences

Now, let's fine-tune your email notification preferences. By default, a confirmation email is sent to the registrant and the event owner to notify them of a new registrant. However, you have the flexibility to adjust these settings according to your needs. Here are your options:

i) Send Registrant and Event Owner Notification: Choose this option to send notifications both to the registrant and the event owners. This ensures that registrants are informed about ticket confirmations, and event owners are notified of new registrants.

ii) Send Only Event Owner Notifications: If you prefer to exclusively notify the event owners, select this choice. It simplifies communication for event organisers, sending notifications solely to them.

iii) Send Only Registrant Notifications: This option allows you to send notifications solely to registrants, ensuring they receive all the relevant information without notifying the event owners.

These choices empower you to personalize the email notification process, ensuring that ticket confirmations are sent exactly as you intend and to the right recipients.

Step 3: Ticketing Choices

In this step, you have the power to make a crucial decision regarding whether you want to issue tickets to registrants or choose not to issue tickets. Your choice here depends on the nature of your event and the logistics you wish to employ for managing registrant entry.

i) Issuing Tickets: Ideal for larger events, this option streamlines entry management and leverages QR codes for efficient attendee check-ins, enhancing the overall experience.

ii) Not Issuing Tickets: Suitable for smaller, more informal events, this option simplifies the check-in process and provides a straightforward entry experience. Choose the option that best fits your event's nature and goals.

Step 4: Invoice Preferences

For paid events, it's essential to decide whether you want to issue invoices for successful registrations. Additionally, registrants have the option to update the Reference/Purchase Order Number when downloading their invoice. Here are your choices:

i) Issue Invoices with Successful Registrations: Select this option if you wish to automatically issue invoices for successful registrations. This ensures that registrants receive invoices for their records.

ii) Do Not Issue Invoices: Opt for this choice if you prefer not to issue invoices for successful registrations. This simplifies the registration process for both you and your registrants.

Congratulations! You've successfully navigated through the steps in "Managing Your Tickets and Registration Settings." Your event management is now finely tuned to provide a seamless experience for both you and your registrants. For any further inquiries or assistance, our support team is ready to assist you. Best wishes for a successful event!
